CRIOCUUM: Cryolipolysis or fat reduction by freezing
It is a non-invasive technique with performance based on the application of localized cold on the areas where fat accumulates to produce a selective elimination of adipose tissue.
Fat cells are more sensitive to temperature than the rest of the cells and structures that surround them. This disadvantage makes them especially susceptible to cryolipolysis treatments. The exposure time and temperature reached during the treatment determine the success and effectiveness of the results.
How does it work?
CRIOCUUM is our cryolipolysis device that applies cold in a controlled, comfortable and safe way to the hypodermis (tissue where fat accumulates). Fat cells are subjected to a freezing process to trigger a mechanism of cell death (apoptosis) and their subsequent natural elimination by the body.
These treatments can be applied to small areas, such as the arms and double chin, as well as larger areas with more diffuse patterned fat, such as the abdomen and thighs.
