Selective photothermolysis

The light emitted (photo) is transformed into heat (thermo) and selectively destroys (lysis) the germinative cells of the pilous follicle. The melanin absorbs the light and carries it to the pilous follicle, where it is transformed into heat.

This way the germinative cells burn, causing the pilous bulb to be destroyed and therefore destroying its capacity to generate a new hair, all without damaging the surrounding tissue at all.

ENEKA 1200 DIODE LASER uses the ALL TYPES technology, developed by Termosalud for permanent hair reduction working with short pulses of 15 y 30 milliseconds, under the thermal relaxation time of the hair, causing heat damage to the germinative cells of the pilous follicle destroying their ability to generate a new hair without damaging the surrounding tissue.

It is equally effective for treatment on skins with a high melanin density such as types IV, V and VI on the Fitzpatrick scale, working with long pulses, from 100 to 400 milliseconds and increasing the number of sessions.
